OnePlus 8 series: Release date, specifications and everything else we know so far

One plus is only smartphone company which is continuously offering best flagships in budget. It is famous for speed and the UI of this company named OXYGON OS. Apart from  all the smartphone companies One plus is having a separate fan base. Basically smartphones of this company offers the best features along with a lower rate than the Samsung and apple. Camera quality is not much popular but if we talk about all other features like processor, battery, charging speed and user interface and the way they deliver basic features are incredible in such  price segment. Recently One Plus had two successor One Plus 7T and One plus 7 pro. One plus 7 pro was having the same screen quality that Samsung offers in their smartphones with a better 90 HZ refresh rate. Along with a good screen these models were having latest generation of processor and sleek design. Now the leaks are telling that; very soon one plus is going to be launched One plus 8 Pro and One plus 8 lite models. So according to leaks here are some features of upcoming smartphones.

One plus is all set to launch the one plus 8 series on 14th of April via an online stream. Upcoming smartphones of this series will be launched in three colors; the old popular black, glacial green and vibrant vanilla.

according to the leaks or rumors one plus will be having a punch hole display like the Samsung.  A famous tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that it will be featuring 6.55'' Full HD plus display and top end model will be featuring 6.78" QHD plus display along with 120 HZ of refresh rate.

 According to Ishan Agarwal it will be also featuring a new feature which has not seen ever before in any smartphone called MEMC that means Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation technology which is going to improve viewing experience  a lot. In January the CEO of one plus Pete Lau confirmed that one of the model of series 8 will be having the best display in the world.

 likely this talk is going to be true if Samsung's s20 model will not be released. But after the S20 this display is going to be the best display in the world according to the display quality, refresh rate, image contrast and MEMC feature for videos and some other applications.

 Display mate confirmed that it has set records in smartphone display sector For now as far as we know from Ishan Agarwal the lower version of one plus 8 series will be having the same screen type on One plus 7T; the same 90 HZ refresh and same quality but probably it will be a punch hole display.

Performance, RAM, Storage 

As far as we all know that particularly one plus is famous for it's performance so there will no compromise with the performance for all the models. All the models will be powered with snapdragon 865 and octa core processor. For the gamers there is a good news that it has the same game genie feature like the recent models of one plus. Along with these powerful processors top end model may house 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Lower model will be available with 8GB of 128 GB of RAM. RAM will be LPDDR 5.

Battery.

One plus 8 will be housing 4300mAh battery with support for the company's own 30W Warp charge technology. 

The top one one plus 8 pro will be housing 4510mAh battery with the same 30W Warp charging technology and the extra feature is 30W wireless charging technology along with 3W reverse wireless charging.

Camera Module.

 According to Ishan Agarwal one plus 8 pro is to feature 48MP IMX 689 as the main sensor with f/1.7 and 48 MP Sony 586 IMX ultra wide f /2.2 & 120 degree FOV.8 MP f 2.44 Telephoto W 3 times optical and 30 times Digital zoom plus 5MP color filter. 

The lower version will be coming with some less features but still the camera will be good spec.

The resolution will be same as the recent models and it is just an upgrade of IMX in ultra wide camera sensor. The same sensor recently found in OPPO find X2.

Some other leaks 

First time in one plus's history One plus is going to launch three sets at once named; one plus 8, one plus 8 pro& One plus Z. There are also some rumors that there will be an another launch event for an affordable low priced one plus model or you can say lite model. It will be named one plus X.It will also have IP68 dust and water resistant rating.

Price and Connectivity 

In an interview to CNET, Pete Lau said the full one plus 8 series of smartphones will have support 5G. There won't be 4G variants of the devices this time along like it did with the one plus 7T series.

This can also be conformed by the processor because it is housing snapdragon865 which support 5G by default. All the devices will be pricing between 400$ to 1000$.

Color options

You are going to get three color options. These will be ultramarine blue, glacial green, Onyx black.
